Question 422 of 433
How will I know when something is ready for me?

The short answer
When the evidence addresses the outcome and population relevant to you, regulatory status permits its use, and a clinician explains why the expected benefit outweighs the harms and burden in your situation.
If you want to help the future arrive sooner, join a clinical trial. Search clinicaltrials.gov by condition and city. Trials need healthy volunteers as well as patients.
