Question 421 of 433
What should I do while I wait?

The short answer
Build the bridge. Be alive, strong, and clear-minded when the next advance arrives.
Good baseline health may make some future treatments easier to tolerate, but benefit will depend on the treatment and the person. A gene editor cannot undo forty years of high blood pressure. Immune function may matter for cancer treatment, but it does not let us predict who will benefit from every new vaccine. The foundations are not the consolation prize while you wait for the future. They are how you get there.
