Question 393 of 433
Should I measure my telomeres?

The short answer
No. Telomere length varies widely between people and between measurements, and knowing it changes nothing about your care.
Short telomeres are associated with disease in large groups. For an individual, the test is too imprecise to be useful, and no product has been shown to lengthen telomeres in a way that improves health.
