Question 359 of 433
How do I lower inflammation?

The short answer
Lose belly fat, exercise, sleep, eat the Mediterranean way, take care of your gums, and do not smoke.
Visceral fat is an inflammation factory, and losing it lowers hs-CRP more reliably than any supplement. Exercise is anti-inflammatory over time. So are statins and GLP-1 medicines, as a side benefit. Turmeric capsules and “anti-inflammatory” powders are far weaker than any of these.
