Question 301 of 433
Do compression boots and massage guns do anything?

The short answer
They make sore muscles feel better for a while. They do not improve performance or health.
A review of 17 trials found that compression boots slightly reduced the feeling of soreness and had no significant effect on muscle function. Massage guns loosen you up briefly. If they help you train again tomorrow, they have earned their place on the middle shelf.
