Question 343 of 433
What are NK cell infusions and follistatin gene therapy?

The short answer
Experiments sold as products, mostly outside the United States.
Natural killer cells are immune cells that destroy abnormal cells. Clinics grow them in a laboratory and infuse them for “immune rejuvenation” at $10,000 to $50,000. The human evidence consists of tiny safety studies with no health outcomes.
The follistatin gene therapy is described in Part 25. It has no controlled trial. A gene, once delivered, cannot be taken back.
