Question 303 of 433
What about electrical muscle stimulation suits?

The short answer
They produce modest strength gains in untrained people, less than ordinary resistance training. Overuse has caused serious muscle breakdown.
They can be useful in rehabilitation when someone cannot exercise normally. People with pacemakers or defibrillators should not use them.
