Question 261 of 433
Should I take rapamycin?

The short answer
I do not recommend it for healthy people outside a clinical trial. If you choose to anyway, do it with a physician who monitors you.
This is the most promising longevity drug we have, and it is still a hypothesis in humans. If you are determined, insist on baseline and follow-up testing of lipids, blood sugar, blood counts, and kidney function, and a doctor who will tell you to stop.
Better yet, join a study. That is how the question gets answered for everyone.
