Question 59 of 433
Do I need an NMR particle test, or is ApoB enough?

The short answer
ApoB is enough. SKIP the more expensive particle tests.
Both count harmful particles. ApoB costs $20 to $40, is standardized, and is the one named in the guidelines. The NMR test gives nearly the same information for more money, along with particle-size numbers that do not change treatment.
