A screening tool clinicians use is called STOP-BANG; it estimates risk and does not diagnose apnea. Count one point for each:

Score: 0 / 8

The book says: “Three or more points warrants discussion of risk and whether testing is appropriate. Symptoms or a concerning history may justify evaluation even at a lower score.”

Published risk band: 0–2: low risk of moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea.

Your score is under 3. If you have symptoms or a concerning history, still talk with your physician.
